How Therapeutic Art is Different
Systemic trauma, gender dysphoria, and minority stress often leave us without words. Memories and heavy emotions live in the body. By engaging with paint, collage, textiles, and sculpture, we externalize the internal. Here, we de-center evaluation. There is no ‘good art’ or ‘bad art’, the focus is on guiding you in your personal expression. Therapeutic art is helpful to those who’ve struggled going deeper with traditional therapy or are looking for a tactile form of expression to complement current therapy.

Overcome creative blocks and paint from your true self
Unite the energy of your creative spirit and inner knowing into a powerful painting that connects you with your authentic Self. Instead of generically focusing on gendered divine feminine or masculine, my practice guides you in exploring your unique creative spirit and journey. I offer both one on one and community group sessions and retreats. As an experienced facilitator and creative practitioner, I guide you with tools and questions to help you unlock a deeper understanding of yourself.
Core Pillars of Practice

A Safe Space
Every protocol, from intake to art-making, is built around emotional safety, consent, and identity affirmation. This is a trauma-informed practice and I want this to be a safe space for all.

Somatic Release
Move past verbal roadblocks to unlock and release deep-seated tension and stress trapped within the body. I use movement, tactile art materials and a creative environment customized to your needs.

Radical Inclusivity
Accessible art mediums such as paint and clay, adaptive tools, and sensory-conscious spaces designed to welcome all bodies, minds, and expressions. We discuss preferred mediums and sensory preferences at intake.

Holding Space For You
Hi, I’m Lee Suzanne Jordan (She / Her). As a bi woman, I saw a need in this community for a therapeutic practice that doesn’t force experiences into standard, rigid clinical boxes. My approach blends expressive, intuitive art frameworks with anti-oppressive, queer-affirming theories. Together, we build a physical and creative sanctuary unique to you or your group. I primarily work with adults and children 12 and older.
