Description

When Renee was murdered while in her car, trying to comply and come home to her family. I was shaken. As a mother and queer person, the things said in the aftermath to dehumanize and other this kind woman were horrifying and felt very personal. I created this piece as a small memorial to her and others like her who won’t get the media attention or outcry. Proceeds from the sale of this original and prints, minus costs will be donated to a local charity or a charity of your choice. Sold unframed. Work is coated with a protective varnish.
