Description
We never had chickens when I was growing up even though we lived on a small farm. My mom’s family did raise them once and it ended up being a big headache they regretted for some reason so no chickens for us. A few years ago my next door neighbors decided to get a few chickens for eggs and let them roam free during the day. They enjoyed exploring our yard as well, clucking a pecking their way around. One particular red hen stood out to me, very fluffy and full of personality.
