Description
I was walking through my neighborhood one morning and was stunned by the waterfall of blossoms on this dogwood tree as its branches bowed into the road.
This is part of a series of intuitive paintings using layers of loosely painted acrylic colors applied with brushes and palette knives. I worked both Plein air, painting while observing the tree and from sketches as part of the process in creating this work.
Materials: Artist quality acrylic paint on gallery wrapped stretched canvas.This painting is painted on all edges.
