Inspired by a late night painting session with Beyoncé on my playlist, this is the first in a series of rose themed paintings. Loose and lush boldly drawn roses in metallic silver washed with bronze/gold paint to add depth. Assertive and feminine, these roses hold their own by themselves or as a group.
This abstract rose painting was made with artist quality metallic acrylic paint, and permanent marker on stretched canvas.
