There is a hawk couple in my neighborhood and I smile whenever I see one of them. I feel a sense of hope and comfort. They have a purpose in the ecosystem, keeping the balance and are a sign of its health. Hawks are also so graceful in the sky, they are a pleasure to watch for that reason alone.
