Description
There is something magical about sunlight filtered through woods. This was the inspiration for Study for Tree Songs #032423. This is part of a series of intuitive paintings using layers of loosely painted acrylic colors applied with brushes and palette knives to capture a reflective mood. Instead of working directly from a reference, I create sketches in a notebook first and then paint from memory.
Materials: Artist quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
