Description
The second painting of the Wild Spirits series, this was inspired by a life long love of horses and the freedom and power they represent to me. I was thinking about the scenery and wild horses I saw on a trip out west in Nevada last year. Acrylic paints were applied with palette knives and brushes on all sides of a primed wood board surface that has wood cradle (sides). This means you can hang it without the frame.. Thick layers of impasto paint create the horse, sun and other forms.
The painting comes ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.
