Description
Winter Roses #03 is an original painting of abstracted roses on canvas. Created by glazing thin layers of acrylic paint and medium, then adding thicker layers of paint with brushes and palette knives and finished with a layer of oil pastel in a rainbow of pinks, greens, blues, reds and golds. Inspired by roses from fairytales and the drama and secret thrill of finding a bold, thriving symbol of life in the dead of winter.
Materials: Artist quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas and wood.
