Description
The large, mossy branches would be an ideal place for hiding as a child and reading a book or watching the clouds. This is part of a series of intuitive paintings using layers of loosely painted landscapes using paint acrylic applied with brushes and palette knives to capture a reflective mood. Instead of working directly from a reference, I create sketches in a notebook first and then paint from memory.
Materials: Artist quality acrylic paint on gallery-wrapped stretched canvas.
Size: 40 inches wide x 30 inches high, 2 inch depth.
