Inspired by a woman whose story was told to me by artist Jerry Salinas. She has a calm and serene vibe, not phased by anything that comes her way. The November Woman series is a collection of paintings about women who I find empowering and inspirational. This original painting is created in oils on canvas panel by loosely blocking in shapes then adding details. I used found materials to paint texture and effects.
