I was inspired to capture the sheer exuberance of this bouncing, curious, and brilliantly mischievous troublemaker. Mia is no ordinary pup; she’s a pint-sized bundle of energy that brings an instant smile to everyone lucky enough to encounter her.
With bold strokes and vivid colors, I aimed to capture Mia’s zest for life. Using the incredible Derwent Inktense sticks, I harnessed the intensity of solid ink sticks on luxurious Arches watercolor paper. The Inktense sticks allowed me to play with a rich variety of line qualities, from sharp and defined to playful and whimsical.Each stroke tells a tale of the tiny dog with a big attitude, leaving viewers captivated by the vibrant energy radiating from the artwork
