Description
Tree Songs #03 was inspired by the peace I find sitting outside and watching the sun set through the trees. Trees grow slowly and are connected to the earth and sun to live and grow. This is #3 in a series of intuitive paintings using layers of loosely painted acrylic colors applied with brushes and palette knives to capture a reflective mood. Instead of working directly from a reference, I create sketches in a notebook first and then paint from memory.
Materials: Artist quality acrylic paint on gallery-wrapped stretched canvas.
