This is my first show at the Alpharetta Arts Center. I remember when then space was a library. It has been beautifully renovated with architectural details that are clean and modern. It’s going to be so awesome to see my work in this space. I plan to be at the opening reception on Saturday night.

More about the show from Arts Alpharetta:

“Juneteenth, baby’s first tooth popping out, a 21st birthday, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a funeral, a graduation, a wedding…what do all of these events have in common? Throughout the history of our world, our country, and in each person’s life, there are significant moments. We mark these moments, these milestones, by celebrating. Artworks can be inspired by cultural/national roots, using colors, landmarks, and historical events as a starting point. Artists are invited to select a moment – either global or personal – to express celebration.”
