New Studio at Local Color Studio

This week I (mostly) moved my studio into Local Color Studio, a new studio and maker space in Canton, Georgia. Located at 85 North St in downtown Canton in the heart of the emerging creative community, this place is already full of life and new opportunities. I’m also teaching classes at Local Color Studio. This week I taught a Pop Art Pets painting class and the week of November 20th I’m teaching an intuitive painting class. Upcoming class topics and dates for December are to be announced. Holiday Markets this November and December

Local Artist Showcase – Woodstock Arts, October 2023

I’ve been based out of Canton, Georgia for over 15 years now and lived right down the street in a little house that is now the Pelican snow cone place when we first moved to the area. It’s been a dream of mine to have a solo show in Woodstock, Georgia and here we are!

Festival 2023 Indoor Patron Exhibit, Creative Arts Guild, Dalton, Georgia, September 15th – October 27th

be on display through August 5th, with an opening reception on Saturday, June 24th, 5pm – 7pm. This is my first show at the Alpharetta Arts Center. I remember when then space was a library. It has been beautifully renovated with architectural details that are clean and modern. It’s going to be so awesome to see my work in this space. I plan to be at the opening reception on Saturday night.

Tomato Art Show August 11-13th 2023

Is it a fruit or a vegetable? The Tomato Art Show in Nashville, Tennessee is a loving, irreverent and varied juried show taking place during the Tomato Festival. Artists from all over the south show off paintings featuring tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables. There will be art from all genres and styles on display.

Flora & Fauna Show September 2023

The first annual Summer Breeze Art Walk hosted by Tranquility Fine Arts is almost here! Myself and other local artists will have work on display on Saturday, June 17th from 11am – 5pm outside the gallery. There will be special give aways and other activities at the gallery during the event.

Set Beer Free Day July 1st 2023

Join me and Maker’s Mash as we help Reformation Brewery (Woodstock) celebrate the date when Georgia breweries could sell beer to the public. Myself and other makers will be set up on the Woodstock, Georgia downtown events green across the street from the brewery.

Sunshine Days Juried Exhibit June 3rd – July 28th

I’m excited to be back at Art on the Green in Woodstock, Georgia, this time in May! I just got my booth assignment for this event. I’ll be one row back from where I was before, in the second block of tents if you’re walking north to south. There will be new paintings of horses, dragons, florals, mountains and maybe a few surprises. I plan to paint live both days.

Spring Arts in the Park – 47th Annual, 2023, Blue Ridge, Georgia May 28th – 29th

In the mountains! That’s where I will be this Memorial Day weekend as part of Spring Arts in the Park. I’m honored to be selected as one of 100+ artists and makers to be a part of the 47th annual Spring Arts in the Park in Blue Ridge, Georgia. I’ve been a member of the Blue Ridge Arts Association for two years now and this will be my first time attending this festival. There will be new paintings of horses, wine, florals, mountains and more!.

ArtWalk Jasper May 19th

I’ll be showing my art at the Pickens County Cultural Center during ArtWalk Jasper on Friday, May 19th from 6pm – 9pm. This downtown ArtWalk will feature live music, special food trucks and specials by local businesses, and juried artists like me showing their work in local businesses for a one night pop-up. Admission is free! I plan to paint and draw live during the event.
